Back to thought

Senses deceive. We all know it, but never take it in it’s philosophical context. If ‘The Bible says God exists, therefore God exists’ can be dismissed by arguing that the Bible said the Earth is the center of the Universe, why should I not dismiss all sensory data?

My belief in One God has never been swayed. If ‘He Begetteth not and nor is He Begotten’ is true, we are ALL part of God. Thus created ‘in his image’ in Christianity. So what if religion is truly many roots leading to the same tree?

Going back to thought made me realize yet again how critical it is to look without senses once in a while. My experience, my path in life exist in all possible realities. Every decision every person makes creates alternate realities that all lead back to the same tree.

Starting point life; end-point death. To not live by ones values is to not live! Quoting Zapata again: ‘It is better to die on your feet than live on your knees.’ Does that not apply to everyday life?

What if thoughts are the only true instruments to find the true path in life? Applying all of my skills, knowledge, and ‘thought’ to weave together my own web of life that leads me back to One?

I am back to thought.

As I return united to One; my work – current and past – applies itself in its own path. There has never been a miracle or a tragedy. I can see clearly that this is the path back where everything I’ve done in life comes together.

Speed up Firefox for yourself

Not many know the secrets of how to speed up browsers. I switched to Firefox a long time ago, but speed had always been an issue.
Dennis, of www.italianice.net sent me the link above recently that opened my eyes to yet another ‘world’ of possible settings simply by typing in “about:config” in your Firefox Browser’s URL.
Try it out! I’m certain you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Now she runs about everywhere, climbs on anything she can find, and when she’s unhappy or something is taken from her, she throws whatever’s in her hands, falls to the floor and throws a tantrum.

My high-school principal Mrs Morshed used to prefer ‘naughty’ kids to ‘good’ ones saying that it’s a sign of a bright future. This one’s future is fully illuminated :)

What’s the solution?

Today I went to a board meeting. The General Manager of a company is like the prince. A prince has 2 options (Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli).

One is to keep everyone in the company happy. This option has tremendous benefits. If everyone in the company is loyal, hard working and will go out of the way to help the company out in any way they can. This is tremendously hard to achieve.

The GM has to know everyone personally and be able to relate to their problems at their level. To be able to do that, they have to be able to share enough about themselves to gain their trust.

The Second option is to please the Nobles. In this case, the Board. Since everyone in the company reports to him and he is the only one that reports to the Board, he needs to please a small group of people (the Board) to remain the prince of his company.

He takes all that is positive in the company and reports that to the board while ignoring everything that may point to the fact that things are not as great as he has portrayed. It’s called ‘managing the Board of Trustees!’

All it does is fester mediocrity and extinguish the fire that may have made the Kingdom 10 times more vast.

It takes out all motivation, every ounce of desire to do anything more than the minimal work required to obtain the paycheck.

What’s the solution?

Multi-Verse?

Subliminal messages appear so often in so many forms. Couple of these made me think in recent times: ‘Multi-verse’ and ‘Under-verse.’ Multi-verse, from The One, is an idea that there exists multiple Universe, with a different version of everyone in each Universe.

In the movie it’s a finite number of Universe. If you consider one entity who has knowledge of infinite numbers of Universe, how would that be? If I was able to comprehend one person’s all possible choices by tapping into the Multiverse, would I be able to make the right choice?

Reminiscing old bangla songs… Noyon Bhora Jol

Noyon Bhora Jol Go Tomar

Phool Nebo Na Osru Nebo

Translation (not literal):
You have eyes full of tears…
And hands full of flowers…
Should I take the Flowers or the Tears…
I wonder and I wonder…
